Round One a Success... Round Two in Motion

A lot of you have been asking how our "Support Our Troops Now" project went. Well, thanks to all of you and a ton of help from my studio team as well as friends and neighbors, we shipped off "Round One" of care packages to the marines of the Romeo Battery 511 in Afghanistan.

I received the nicest letter from their Lieutenant. He and his men were so thrilled and grateful. He asked me to convey their thanks to you for the goodies as well as the sweet notes of encouragement and all the prayers being offered in their behalf.

But here is the best news. The donations were so generous that we are going to be able to do a "Round Two" this next week, just in time for them to get it for Christmas.

Thanks for helping make this project a reality. I know we couldn't reach all the men and women oversea in our armed forces, but we were able to put a smile on the faces of a platoon of marines who are laying it all on the line for us.
